Hey internet.
I'm trying to raise some money to build a wireless network in Benton Harbor, MI.
The quick version is: it would cost about $2,000 in parts, and I would need about $1000 / mo. to cover the overhead and food.
Yeah seriously, I'm trying to land myself a $15,000/yr job.
Partly it's out of a sense of a greater good. But honestly, I just think that there are a lot of very rich people who don't actually do much of anything but get in the way.
I think if there was an open business model for delivering the internet, it would be good for everyone, AT LEAST, as a point of reference to judge some of the major ISPs service and ethics. I can think of another dozen or so reasons why it could seriously be considered for the species, if not America, or Michigan, or Benton Harbor, or me.
The tentative working title is Communis Vox, and I would sincerely appreciate any resources you, the general public, would feel comfortable contributing; whether those resources be in the form of cash, parts, pledges of support or objective criticism.
Thanks for your time,
Japhy Bartlett

So, you'll probably notice that I use this as something of a notepad.
That's why the input box is shaped in that proportion.
But technically, this is a totally public place. It's like an internet park...

Are you seriously still thinking about who to vote for?
Of the three, two lie outrageously. I understand that not everyone keeps up on political news; that's fair. But is it not common knowledge that two of these candidates .. Lie? a lot?
Who is it that doesn't understand how a company like CNN works. This pre-election bullshit is news because they keep putting it on TV. Hillary lost. We've all known this for several months now. But if CNN played all the bullshit that McCain has been saying, they wouldn't have anything to show for the next six months.
Seriously. Two of the three lie. They have both been caught multiple times in sleazy, schemy situations.
Can we all agree to elect someone honest this time?

Customer Service:
I ordered parts from a company last Thursday.
Yesterday I emailed them to see if they were going to bill me or send anything?
Today I guess I have to fucking call them, to get them to take my fucking money.
Seriously?
Why's our economy fucked up again?
